When I fell for you
At first I thought it was the wind
I wasn't sure where to begin,
Because I've never fallen quite like this...
It swept my heart away
Would this feeling really stay?
I wasn't really sure...
As I walked alone I wondered
Whether this feeling would be fleeting
The rhythm of my heart keeps beating
From the passion of our kiss...
When I fell for you,
I tried to remember when
Did my heart stop and then begin again?
To be honest...I got lost...
In the searching of your lips
When you put your hands upon my hips
And drew me closer...
I disappeared somewhere inside your heart
I couldn't tell where my soul began
And where exactly did yours start?
As I walk alone,
I close my eyes and smell your scent
Strong and confident your message meant
You loved me...
I hope the wind it never dies
I want to love and also try,
To hold onto this Forever...
When I fell for you,
I had to let my heart experience this once again
I know love has always been my friend
Through all the pain and joy and tears
Through times when the wind would fan my fears
Through laughing-touching-knowing,
That love could leave me...
Like the leaf that's carried by the wind
I'd never see you again
And the way you held me when we kissed
Your touch, your love I'd surely miss,
Because I've never fallen quite like this...
