Is it asking way too much
To start where we began?
So I can hold you near,
And touch you once again...
I see you in my dreams
I feel you in my heart
I long to touch your skin
And hold you once again...
It sends a shimmer,
Down through my spine
Like the so-soft-velvety-feel
Of a good expensive wine
On my tongue...
Swirling with your kiss
There's this special feeling
That I miss,
Struggling with the pull
Of the gravity from your heart
It aches when we're a part
My day it never-really-starts
Without a lingering thought of you...
It's a missingness in my soul
Sometimes I don't even-really-know,
If we'll ever embrace again,
But I know my heart it counts down

Hope we will
And with that will
A chill,
That races to my heart
Igniting sparks inside-my-mind
This time round let's spend more time
With each other...

And forget about the things that
Tore us down
Instead let's make a sound
Like-fire-crackling on a Winter night
Where warm with passion we hold

And get lost in the flicker-of-the-flames

We whisper
each others names
And fall asleep
Dreaming as our souls
